Week-long Holiday or Vacation Camps & Workshops Policies

(Occasional Care)
For multi-day or week-long workshops or camps during holidays and vacations, parents and children are subject to the following policies:

  • Due to Massachusetts law, under this policy, we cannot offer more than one 5-6 day holiday/vacation workshop per month, per child. We cannot offer more than two 3 day holiday/vacation workshops per month, per child
  • We are required by Massachusetts law to maintain a database of each child’s arrival and departure times

  • The child care services being offered by fungineers are not licensed by the Department of Early Education and Care or any other state agency
  • Each child may not attend more than 4 hours a day and no more than 6 days per month

Play Space and Computer Lab Drop-In Policies

(Under 9 years old) (Not Separate From Parents/Guardians)
Parents who bring their children in to use the facilities on a drop-in basis are subject to the following policies:

  • The child care services being offered by fungineers are not licensed by the Department of Early Education and Care or any other state agency
  • Parents/guardians must remain on the premises the entire time their children are in care
  • Parents/guardians must remain responsible for the basic care of their children (including, but not limited to diapering, toileting, feeding, and discipline) and must perform these duties as needed

  • Parents/guardians must respond immediately to their children’s caretaking needs as they arise
  • Parents/guardians must agree that if they fail to comply with these conditions of child care, Fungineers will not be able to provide child care services for the child.

Anytime Memberships and Self Drop-In (9+) Policies

(Open Door)
Children aged 9 or older may visit anytime fungineers is open without parental supervision and are subject to the following policies:

  • The child care services being offered by Fungineers are not licensed by the Department of Early Education and Care or any other state agency
  • Staff will be available to help with free-form activities in the play space or lab at any time during open hours, but we do not maintain any minimum staff-to-child ratio

  • Fungineers is not responsible for the care or supervision of children after they have left the premises or beyond closing time
  • Children may arrive at or depart from Fungineers at any time during their time at the program

Single Session Courses and Workshops Policies

(Instructional Nature)
Parents who bring their children in to use the facilities on a drop-in basis are subject to the following policies:

  • The child care services being offered by Fungineers are not licensed by the Department of Early Education and Care or any other state agency
  • All children must register for a specific class or lesson either online, over the phone, or on-site

  • All children must leave upon completing the class or lesson
  • We are required by Massachusetts law to maintain a database of each child’s course activity, arrival and departure times, and date of course participation
